My family recently enjoyed a Disney Cruise to the Caribbean islands and some beautiful tropical weather. As they say, Disney does it best.
      We were reminded of that continually while enjoying the delicious food, Broadway level shows, and returning each day and evening to a cleaned and refreshed room with fresh chocolates and towels folded into the shape of animals. I enjoyed stepping away from the business long enough to mentally size it up and reflect on ways to even better serve my clients. Disney is a great teacher for that. One thing that differentiates Disney from the other cruise lines is the constant reminder of childhood through the Disney characters on board the ship, the entertainment, and the decorations (our stateroom had a very large picture stating “When you wish upon a star…”.) As a former first grade teacher with a gift to bond with clients’ kidlets as we look for houses, I especially noticed this intriguing benefit to sailing with Disney. As a full-time realtor who loves her job dearly, I believe with all my heart that when a client gets in my car to go find that special home, I share their Disney-like excitement in finding it and, like Disney, I do the necessary extras to benefit my client in every aspect of the home purchase. My team is the best ; Walt Disney would be proud. As we heard his words repeatedly on that ship, “Let us not forget that it all started with a mouse.” (That would be Mickey Mouse.)
